Have Fun Every Year

In the most inconspicuous alley in this city, there is a small shop called "Ember Handmade". There are some seemingly ordinary handicrafts in the window - a ceramic rabbit has a crack, which is carefully repaired with gold paint; a wood-carved bird rests on a copper wire branch, and the feather texture will undulate slightly under certain light; a leather notebook, with ink marks that do not belong to any language occasionally appear on the blank page. The owner of the shop, Yu Yan, is a quiet woman, about 27 or 28 years old, and her fingers are always stained with traces of paint or clay. She doesn't talk much, but her craftsmanship is excellent. Most of the people who come to the store are regular customers, or strangers who are attracted by some inexplicable feeling. No one knew that the objects she had repaired would glow faintly late one night. No one knows that every item flowing out of "Ember Handmade" is silently fulfilling an unknown contract. Until that rainy night, a soaked man broke into the store and placed an ancient jade broken into three pieces on the counter—— "They say only you can mend the wishes of the deceased."
