Three Kingdoms: Starting by Stealing the Battle of Red Cliffs

After transmigrating into Liu Cong, the nominal Governor of Jingzhou in the thirteenth year of Jian'an, he opened his eyes to find Jingzhou on the brink of ruin. Cao Cao's hundreds of thousands of elite troops were sweeping south. Liu Biao of Jingzhou had died of illness, Liu Bei was fleeing south in panic with the people across the river, and everyone around Liu Cong was a turncoat eager to surrender to Cao Cao. He had no intention of surrendering, of becoming the "pig or dog" Cao Cao called him, or of taking his beautiful wife to live under the roof of the traitor Cao. Faced with his ministers urging him to surrender, Liu Cong sprang up in fury and drew his sword, cleaving the table in two. "Any general who dares speak of surrendering to Cao again will end up like this table!" Then, on Changban Slope, Liu Cong led his troops in seven charges through the enemy ranks, slaying fifty officers and routing the Tiger and Leopard Cavalry. Beneath Jiangling, fire swept through the linked ships, flames soaring into the sky as hundreds of thousands of Cao Cao's troops were soundly defeated and driven back. Cao Cao, fleeing in defeat, gazed across the river and sighed. "A son should be like Liu Zhongcan, Liu Cong's courtesy name. Sun Wentai's sons are nothing but cowards!" Holding A Dou in his arms, Liu Cong thought to himself, "Dou, the waters at the end of the Han are too deep for you to navigate. Leave your adopted father in my care. I will also restore this mighty Han dynasty!"
