Break the Precept

Mr. Wang Zengqi wrote "Being Precepted" about the "beauty of precepts" - how human nature grows softly and tenaciously like a reed in the gaps between rules and precepts. What I want to continue to write about is "the difficulty of keeping the truth" - when the external commandments disappear, how can people establish commandments for themselves? When the answer to "what should be done" is no longer given, how can one find the courage to "think about what to do"?
