Splendid and Poetic

The raindrops are like sorrow, densely and slantingly weaving the dusk in the south of the Yangtze River. The water of the Qinhuai River is as green as a piece of jasper that has been soaked for thousands of years. At this moment, it is gently supporting a soul that has just awakened from chaos. When Liu Rushi opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the skylight swaying between the water patterns, as fine as crushed silver foil. Shouldn't she be at the bottom of the cold river, swallowed by boundless darkness and hatred? Why is it that at this moment, my skin feels the slight coolness of the water instead of the biting cold? She moved her fingers lightly, and ripples appeared on the water's surface. Memories came in like a tide, no longer the heart-burning hatred and pain of the previous life, but like being washed by the spring rain. Although there were still marks, the bloody hostility was gone. The fragments that had sunk in the depths of time were now being put together piece by piece clearly, with the unique moist atmosphere of Jiangnan flowing over her heart.
