A 16-year-old chuunibyou girl, frustrated with her studies, longs to be reborn and start over. But in real life, how could anyone have the golden finger you find in feel-good stories? A 16-year-old boy, cool and aloof, has a complicated past. To protect his mother, he keeps his distance from his classmates. To look after his older sister, he deliberately brings a girl home. So what if Wen Jianing failed the high school entrance exam? She hones her skills among engine oil and wrenches, and shines in city, provincial, industry, and national skills competitions. Just as love and career are both within reach, she resolutely chooses a teaching post on the frontier and heads for the foot of the Tianshan Mountains. In the season of chasing dreams, they all grow, and the love between childhood sweethearts puts down its first tender shoots. Dump the scumbag, and call out the two-faced schemer. Cherish the people you want to protect, and work hard for the career you want. Hand in hand, they pursue their dreams. Looking back, the Tianshan Mountains can bear witness: the sweat they shed along the way is what makes their youth truly free of regret.
