A Match Made in Gold and Jade

Just after graduating from university, Jiang Yingman runs into one job rejection after another. Then she meets her “patron,” Xu Jinghuai. To repay him for giving her a chance, she presents him with a phoenix crown adorned with gold filigree, an heirloom from her family, and helps him expand his business empire. Beneath the crown’s exquisite beauty lies a young woman’s sincere affection. After a first love that leaves her emotionally exhausted, Jiang Yingman, heir to the southern school of gold filigree inlay, turns to livestreaming, e-commerce, and investment to keep this craft, with a history of more than two thousand years, alive. From skepticism to understanding, from exploitation to recognition, from resistance to promotion: as tradition collides with trends and the classical blends with the modern, Jiang Yingman stumbles along the road to preserving traditional culture and craftsmanship, from childhood through young adulthood. As fire and gold merge, this uniquely mysterious Eastern art is refined into a brilliant light on the world’s cultural stage. Synopsis 2: At the International Fashion and Jewelry Expo, held once every four years, an exquisitely crafted crown of nine dragons and nine phoenixes commands everyone’s attention onstage. Below, a man in gold-rimmed glasses and a finely tailored suit strokes the ring on his left ring finger, his gaze roiling with emotion... Everyone in the art world knows investment mogul Xu Jinghuai as aloof and ascetic, his whereabouts a mystery. No one expected a press conference to set off one trending topic after another: in a dim parking garage, the cool and distinguished mogul holds a short-haired woman in his arms, his expression tender. Art investment mogul Xu Jinghuai offers a unique surviving manual on the Ming dynasty phoenix-crown-making technique as a bride price, all for the chance to see her smile in her wedding crown and gown.
