You Brat, Open Up! Your Mother Is Back to Set This Family Straight

[Raising kids + sweet romance + satisfying revenge + devoted loyalist + powerful heroine] In her previous life, Meng Nanzhi drowned. Through the sky screen, she learned that all three of her children would meet tragic ends as adults. Each of them had been turned into an early-doomed villain by a faithless scumbag and a fake-sweet friend.

She did everything she could to travel back, only to discover that ten years had already passed since her death. At least there was still time. She would divorce the scumbag at once, cut ties with him, and properly guide her children, who had gone astray.

Sure enough, after Meng Nanzhi returned, all her rebellious children began to shine with the charm of righteous protagonists.

Her eldest son, Shen Yanchu, had been destined to cast aside all propriety and fall in love with his stepsister, then turn evil and rebel to win her. Now he says, “Mother’s back. What does a stepsister matter?”

Her second son, Shen Yanhan, used to spend all day fighting roosters and dogs, never doing anything decent, and hanging around gambling dens and brothels. Now he says, “What gambling dens and brothels? I’m sure to be the fine young gentleman Mother thinks I am.”

Her daughter, Shen Zhaozhao, was spoiled and willful, ready to use any means necessary to steal men from her stepsister. Now she says, “What’s so great about men? My beautiful, gentle mother matters far more!”

And then there’s her father, who loves her more than life itself. Meng Taifu is willing to return to court: “Of those who bully my daughter, fewer than one in ten will survive.”

The scumbag is out of options, and the fake-sweet friend has shown her true colors. Her ex-husband kneels and begs her to forgive him and remarry him. The powerful young general Tu Rong comes to her defense: “Zhizhi is mine. Who do you think you are?”
