Thriller Game: I’m a Monster, Yet the Players Adore Me

A horror game suddenly invades the world, and Tang Nuo is chosen to enter it. She can understand why she was selected, but why is everyone else a player while she’s a boss’s assistant?

The hospital boss orders her to perform surgery, and as an assistant, she can’t refuse. Tang Nuo looks at the scalpel in her hand, then at the player struggling desperately on the operating table, and gives him a punk-style haircut.

Tang Nuo: Who says cutting hair isn’t surgery?

As a model wage slave, Tang Nuo has reached the pinnacle of slacking off. In every world after the hospital, everyone can see her expertly goofing off by the boss’s side.

The bosses: You die, or they die!

Tang Nuo: I choose “or.”

The bosses: …

Thanks to Tang Nuo’s “help,” the players in the bosses’ worlds have a much higher survival rate. The bosses are furious, but there’s nothing they can do. As time goes by, a legend about Tang Nuo spreads among the players.

Players: So even in the horror world, there are monsters who slack off at work!

This misunderstanding means that as soon as players enter a game, the first person they look for is Tang Nuo.

Tang Nuo tosses her head proudly: Don’t fall for me. I’m just a legend.
