So What If I Passed the Palace Exam? My Mother Is the Grand Princess

Dual heroines + two generations of face-slapping catharsis: a butcher’s daughter × a young war god; a princess royal × a mad general

The daughter’s story: Su Xiuer supported her live-in husband by working as a butcher, only to hear that the man had become the top scholar and pledged himself to a noblewoman. The scumbag framed her for adultery and expected her to willingly become his concubine? She would take up her butcher’s knife, clear her name, and reclaim everything she had given. Who knew the wild man she casually picked up along the way would turn out to be the young heir hailed as a god of war, and the little boy she was raising the marquis’s legitimate grandson? She goes to the emperor to present her case and strikes the Drum of Grievances. Then she sees the emperor on the throne, whose features look exactly like those of her mother, who spends her days fishing and tending flowers. In a moment of bewilderment, she blurts out, “Mother!” and shocks the entire court!

The mother’s story: Su Tianjiao has hidden her identity and lives as a beautiful widow. She sends her daughter to the capital to enjoy a good life, only to receive her son-in-law’s divorce letter. She reveals the imperial jade tablet and reclaims her position as princess royal. “Who dares bully my daughter?” Just after arriving in the capital, the mad general she once rejected shows up at her door, while her imperial younger brother, claiming to be her servant, clings to her leg and begs for affection. Her former subordinates also keep showing up, desperate to make their presence known… Two generations of heroines, one butcher’s knife, and one imperial tablet, all here to deal with every kind of scumbag and wretch!
