They Abandoned the Lucky Baby During the Famine? I Took Her Home, and She Brought Us Endless Fortune!

[Hunting and farming + a lucky little treasure + face-slapping and punishing villains + sweet, devoted romance] Jiang Xian returns from hunting to find a wealthy family in the village about to abandon their adopted daughter. They don’t even want a heaven-blessed little treasure who brings her own food? Fine, fine! Then Jiang Xian won’t stand on ceremony! She adopts the lucky little girl, and mountain delicacies and wild game come streaming home while gold and jewels come knocking at their door. Her down-on-his-luck scholar husband wins first place in the imperial examinations and becomes a top scholar; her adoptive mother, thought too old to bear children, gives birth to triplets, delighting the whole family; and her lame adoptive father experiences a medical miracle. The family finally realizes they’ve adopted a lucky little treasure who brings prosperity to the whole household! They have to spoil her, and spoil her rotten! But just as the Jiang family’s life grows brighter and brighter, the Chen family, who once abandoned the little girl, starts showing up every few days to demand her back. Jiang Xian throws a punch. “You rejected a heaven-blessed little treasure. It’s no wonder you can’t even afford a decent meal!”
