The Night She Ran from Her Wedding, Mr. Fu Completely Lost Control

[Angst first, then cathartic payback + love-rival showdown + punishing scumbags] After an accident, Shen Ningwei discovers that Fu Chengyu, the man she has loved for years, only got close to her for ulterior motives. Fu Chengyu says, “I only have A Rou in my heart. As for Shen Ningwei, we’re both adults, so what’s wrong with having a little fun?” Shen Ningwei dries her tears and forces herself to crush this wretched, false relationship. Decisive and unflinching, she makes no scene, quietly planning her departure as she rebuilds her life and career. As the years pass and their relationship grows increasingly tangled, every glance and smile from another woman tugs at Fu Chengyu’s heart. Little by little, he begins to understand his own confused feelings.

Before the wedding begins, he stands ready in his suit, resolved to make a fresh start and make things right with her. Then his assistant calls with the news: “Something’s wrong, President Fu... your wife has run away from the wedding!” His eyes turn bloodshot. After traveling over mountains and rivers, he finally finds her in a faraway place, where she gently places her hand in that of a refined, elegant man beside her. Fu Chengyu’s lips tremble. “A Ning, I can’t live without you...” Shen Ningwei gives him an indifferent smile without even looking at him. “Why is a mighty President Fu stooping to playing the homewrecker?”
