Her Alluring Eyes Captivate the Emperor, and the Coldhearted Ruler Loses His Heart

[Multiple rebirths + devoted love later on + clear-eyed heroine] After her elder sister schemes against her, Yun Wu musters her courage, covers the emperor's eyes, and ties up his hands and feet. Afterward, she leaves behind only the silk handkerchief she used to blindfold him, then flees in feigned panic. The young emperor has always been strict with himself and courteous, never taking women seriously. Yet he can't stop thinking about the bold, bewitching woman he glimpsed through the gauze. At last he finds her, and makes sure she can never escape again. #After entering the palace, Yun Wu plays hard to get and uses every trick in the book, but never loses her head or falls for him. She remains clear-eyed, knowing exactly what she wants: to become the most powerful woman in the imperial harem. She wants status, not love.
