After Connecting the Past and Present, I Raise the Future Treacherous Chancellor

The history books say that Huaxia has a history of five thousand years! But five thousand years ago, a treacherous minister seized control of the Great Yue court, deposed five emperors in a row, damaged the imperial dragon vein, and brought about the dynasty’s downfall! The history books didn’t even survive, cutting our history straight from five thousand years down to four thousand! How can anyone stand for that?! Luckily, Su Jin has a scroll that connects her to Great Yue. She hurries to nurture a pillar of the state and bring the great villain down! The young man is very obedient. She sends him a boxed meal through the scroll, and he sweet-talks her by calling her “big sister.” She gives him a modern writing brush, and he’s happy for days. She wants to prove that Great Yue existed, and he spares no effort to find the items she needs. Su Jin is confident she can raise this poor scholar into an acclaimed prime minister and a loyal minister for the ages. Sure enough, Shen Yubai passes the imperial examinations and palace exam, placing third in the palace ranking, then joins the Hanlin Academy and becomes chief minister in just three years! He even helps her revise the historical records of Great Yue. But the notorious villain mentioned in unofficial histories is still nowhere to be found. Shen Yubai sends her a letter: “Big sister, if I find the great villain, will you marry me?” There’s no way he’ll find him anyway. Su Jin is just about to nod and say, “Sure, sure!” when she sees the villain’s name on the scroll she just repaired. “It’s too late.” The great villain, Shen Yubai, has already wrapped an arm around her slender waist. “You promised, big sister. You can’t take it back.”
