My Farm Connects Past and Present, and the Great General Hails Me as the Goddess Who Will Save the World!

Travel between past and present + battle-hardened god of war VS resilient little flower + trade supplies + sweet romance + adorable children + rebellion and nation-building. Fang Jinzhu has just graduated from college when the darkest moment of her life arrives. Her boyfriend and best friend betray her, and her parents die in a car accident, leaving her with nothing but a debt-ridden farm. Five hundred acres of crops are waiting to be harvested, but she has no machinery, and thousands upon thousands of chickens, ducks, cattle, and sheep are crying out to be fed. Debt collectors are hounding her relentlessly. Driven to the brink, Fang Jinzhu plans to sell the farm, pay off some of her debts, and figure out what to do next. But while taking stock of her assets, she catches two ancient children stealing food from the chickens! The frail, gaunt twin siblings turn out to be the general’s own nephew and niece. They come from the barren northern frontier of Beiliao, where life is desperately poor and hard. Fifty thousand soldiers and civilians are on the verge of running out of food and pay, abandoned by the imperial court. Fang Jinzhu has a sudden inspiration: she can save her farm and rescue an entire city’s population at the same time. With one adorable child at each side, the twins become messengers traveling between past and present. Calligraphy, paintings, and porcelain from the general’s residence, along with discarded spears and swords from the soldiers, are all worth a fortune as antiques in another era. Cartload after cartload of food and supplies passes through the gate between worlds, saving the fifty thousand people of Beiliao from disaster. Through letters, Fang Jinzhu and the general open up trade between past and present, saving each other in the process. She thinks she has reached the peak of her life, but then her joy turns to sorrow when she falls into her own fishpond. When she opens her eyes again, Fang Jinzhu has transmigrated into ancient times! The passage through time suddenly closes, and the general, unable to contact the woman he loves, is frantic. Then a desperate letter from her arrives from the capital. The general raises his banner and launches a rebellion to save his wife, his country, and all its people!
