The Beloved Concubine Lives Forever

Sisters reborn together + letting life carry them to victory + laid-back + money-loving + a little golden finger

“A wife outranks a concubine! Can you really bear to watch your elder sister become a concubine everyone can bully? Mother raised you for years. Now it’s time to repay her!” Damn it, I made one snarky comment about a short drama, and woke up as one of its characters? Lin Tingwan pats her face and says, “Whatever my elder sister wants!”

In her previous life, Lin Tingwan was forced to marry a butcher, while the Lin family's legitimate daughter, Lin Rou, became a concubine in a marquis's household. In less than a year, Lin Rou died horribly: first, she was drugged to ruin her reputation, then buried alive. Meanwhile, Lin Tingwan's butcher husband became a general through his military accomplishments! The two sisters are reborn, and Lin Rou resolutely switches marriages! But is being a general's wife really that easy? The original character in the short drama didn't meet a happy end, either! Lin Tingwan is terrified of becoming a concubine, trembling with fear! First, she won't compete for favor. Second, she'll be respectful to the principal wife and put her first in everything! She'll be a well-behaved little concubine, eat well, enjoy herself, listen to music, and live a life of happy idleness. What could be better? After all, whose favor you compete for doesn't really matter, does it? But... how did she end up a rich woman just by keeping her head down? And why is everyone showering her with affection now? Meanwhile, her enemies are baffled: “You're just a concubine. Why aren't you dead yet?”
