In the Seventies, the Sincere Tough Guy Made My Heart Flutter

Su Ying, an executive at a multinational corporation, drinks too much yet again and heads to a sauna. A blood vessel bursts, and she dies on the spot. When she wakes, she has transmigrated into the body of Su Yingzi, a side character in a period novel destined to be a stepping stone for the heroine. Worse, the original owner is being assaulted at that very moment. To change her doomed fate, Su Ying fights through the pain of the drug coursing through her body and kicks the creep into the dirt. As she flees, she falls into a cave and meets a man more handsome than a male model. Under the drug’s aphrodisiac effects, Su Ying throws herself at him, their lips and tongues entwining. Just as she’s starting to enjoy herself, he tosses her away. He’s a true gentleman, helping Su Ying sober up with cold water and never touching her. Fine, fine, you’re a paragon of virtue, a modern-day Liu Xiahui. Is my charm lacking, or is there something wrong with you? When they meet again, they stare at each other, mortified. Seeing the man’s teasing gaze, Su Ying steels herself. “So I took advantage of you. What about it? We already kissed. What are you going to do?” ... Their fates become entangled, and they weather countless storms side by side. When they return to the cave where they first met, he asks, “Is my charm enough?” “Enough. Can you perform?” “Absolutely.” ...
