I Just Want to Keep My Head Down, So Why Are You Forcing Me to Go Crazy?

Shi Rong transmigrates into a world overrun with pollution. To make matters worse, she’s become a powerless little weakling. When she arrives, she’s trapped in a city about to be abandoned, surrounded by mutated creatures created by the pollution. Just as she’s about to bite the dust, she suddenly awakens a System.

The good news: she won’t have to die.

The bad news: to get stronger, she has to farm.

She sighs helplessly. Fine, she’ll farm. It’s better than dying. After escaping, she starts putting her farming plans into action. But no sooner has she started planting than a bunch of idiots keep trying to kill her. And she can’t beat them. You’d think a normal person facing opponents like these would train hard to improve. But Shi Rong isn’t normal.

With a cold laugh, she starts going off the rails. She goes so far off the rails that she gets herself killed. Then she fakes her own resurrection, taking on a White Moonlight secret identity to create countless enemies for the idiots.

White Moonlight Secret Identity One: “Stop kneeling. Get up and live.”

White Moonlight Secret Identity Two: “I’m a teacher. I’ll teach you how to get stronger, then you can go chop those idiots to pieces.”

White Moonlight Secret Identity Three: “Don’t worry, I can cure you. Unlike those idiots, who only know how to hack you to death.”

The idiot enemies, inexplicably saddled with all these new foes: “Since when did I have so many enemies?”

Shi Rong, a pharmacist: “This is hilarious. I can’t beat you, but can’t I find someone who can?”

(A slow start, but the story picks up later, with a powerful rise and a heroine who grows stronger over time.)
