Boldly Pursued, Secretly Tempted: The Chaste Older Man Falls

[Sharp-Suited, Scheming Tycoon vs. Chaotic, Spirited College Student] The first time Yu En’en met Xu Xingzhi, he was tall and handsome, with an air of nobility and pride. That day, Xu Xingzhi held her hand tightly and said, “Since none of you want her, I’ll take care of her.” Xu Xingzhi was only eighteen that year. From then on, the man Yu En’en liked took on a face of his own.

For the next ten years, Xu Xingzhi spoiled her like a little princess, indulging her until she could do whatever she wanted. He could be strict, but he doted on her too. If Yu En’en wanted a star, he would pluck one from the sky; if she wanted the moon, he would bring it down for her. Yet he never returned her love.

Yu En’en tried everything she could, but Xu Xingzhi never wavered. At last, she gave up. One night, drunk and red-eyed from crying, Yu En’en clutched the hem of Xu Xingzhi’s clothes and whispered, “Uncle, starting today, I’m going to like someone else.”

The moment Xu Xingzhi saw Yu En’en with her arm linked through another man’s, the feelings he had suppressed for years finally erupted. He possessively pulled her from the other man’s arms, lowered his guard, and coaxed her gently. “En’en, will you please like your uncle one more time?”
