The Female Forensic Examiner of the Criminal Court

Jiang Yunxin is a highly experienced modern forensic pathologist. After transmigrating to ancient times, her first problem is being forced to leave school and marry. To avoid marrying a jerk, she chooses the place nobody else wants to go: an internship as a forensic examiner at the notorious Criminal Justice Bureau in the capital. Fang Mingyan, an official in the Bureau of Judicial Review, has seen plenty in his time, but even he is taken aback by the new recruit. Jiang Yunxin twirls a scalpel with impressive flair. “I may be new, but I’m a once-in-a-generation genius, blessed with extraordinary talent. I was... born for this line of work. Pick me, my lord. I’m seriously badass.” From then on, the Bureau of Judicial Review has a female forensic examiner, and Fang Mingyan both loves and loathes her. Jiang Yunxin is puzzled. “What do you hate?” Fang Mingyan replies solemnly, “Just look at how many despicable ideas you’ve come up with.” Even more puzzled, Jiang Yunxin asks, “And what do you love?” Fang Mingyan answers even more solemnly. “You.”
