Livestream Fortune-Telling: From the Start, I Inherited an Incense Shop

[Live streaming + fortune-telling + mysticism + standalone short stories + no romance] In ancient times, the great sorcerer Ji Yu foresaw that the dynasty’s fortune was coming to an end. She suffered a backlash and died, only to wake up transmigrated into the body of a young woman who had jumped into a river to kill herself. The girl had taken out a loan from loan sharks to keep the inherited incense shop running, leaving her with a debt of a million yuan. Unable to bear it any longer, she had chosen to end her life. To pay off the debt, Ji Yu began live-streaming fortune-telling.

A college student with an innocent, vacant look entered the stream. “Master, I feel like I can’t breathe when I’m asleep at night.”

Ji Yu: “That’s because you’re sleeping on a dead person’s bed.”

A hugely popular diva entered the stream. “Master, lately my husband seems kind of like a woman. Has he been possessed by a female ghost?”

Ji Yu: “No. It seems your husband has recently turned gay.”

The viewers in the stream: “Master, hurry and read our fortunes too! We’ll make sure your incense shop is always busy!”

Ji Yu: “Thanks, but this is an incense shop, not a temple or Taoist shrine.”
