The Imperial Preceptor Is Ill, So Don't Act Recklessly, Heir Apparent

Murong Qi has only two wishes in this life: first, overthrow the imperial family that has set its sights on the Murong clan; second, protect the family’s century-old legacy. To hide her identity, she dresses as a man and pretends to be a “eunuch” who cannot perform as a man. To find herself a powerful ally, she has no choice but to board Gong Ran’s ship and make a deal with the devil. A flower has two sides: one faces the Buddha, the other the demon. Everyone says the Grand Preceptor is a living Buddha, a jade-faced deity. But Murong Qi knows that Gong Ran is a demon from the depths of hell, cruel and ruthless, skinning and dismembering people without a second thought. The two can barely stand each other as they work together. Gong Ran says, “Murong Qi, don’t look at me like that. I’m not interested in you.” Then one day, the aloof and self-possessed Grand Preceptor sheds his pride and kneels beside the bed, cupping the young woman’s face as he begs hoarsely, “My lady, would you please show me some affection?” Murong Qi turns the world upside down, stirs up a storm, and wreaks havoc in the court, but she also unwittingly throws the heart of a certain celibate Buddha into disarray. The untouchable Grand Preceptor falls into the mortal world and discovers the full range of human emotions. Later, when the two test their skills together in bed for the first time, they uncover each other’s deepest secrets. “Gong Ran, you’re actually a eunuch!” “Murong Qi, you’re actually a fake eunuch!”
