On the Third Day of the Third Month, the Dragon King Takes a Bride

[Goddess Houtu × Emperor of Fengdu] [Pure Sweet Romance]

I was born cursed. On the day I was born, black snakes covered my mother's delivery room, and everyone called me the Snake Girl.

On the third day of the third lunar month, my own mother dressed me in a bright red wedding gown and sealed me in a coffin, making me marry the Dragon King at the temple in place of my twin sister.

On my wedding night, I cried myself hoarse inside the coffin. The legendary demon dragon came to my coffin amid rolling thunder. His face was full of fury, but the moment he saw me, it all disappeared. Then, with utmost tenderness, he snuffed out the temple candles, stripped me, and spent the entire night entwined with me in the coffin...

As passion consumed us, he soothed me softly: “Don't be afraid, my lady. I am frail.”

Later, I looked at the Dragon King, who was always as refined and serene as the moon, and asked nervously, “My dad said the snake-shaped scar on my face is shrinking because of your true dragon energy?”

He answered with a nonchalant hum.

That night, I poured a whole dozen beers down the throat of the cold, abstinent Dragon King. After dragging him into a room, I shamelessly rubbed my flushed cheek against his chest and slurred, “Your Majesty, Dragon King, for the sake of my beauty and lifelong happiness, I'm afraid I'll have to trouble you to make a little sacrifice!”

But the tall man, who had seemed barely conscious, pinned me against the wall and seized both my wrists. His deep eyes swirled with desire. “Oh? How long does my lady want me to sacrifice this time?”

I honestly held up one finger. “One...”

He suddenly gripped my fingertip, the corner of his mouth curling up. “I understand. One night.”

Me: ???

The next day, I fled the bedroom, aching all over and clutching my lower back.

Liar! What happened to being frail?!
