Bite the Moon

At first, she simply moved into his house. The closer they got, the more she found fault with him. She couldn’t stand that he stayed up all night and slept all morning, thought of nothing but video games and collectibles, skipped class, hated studying, and had no ambition. Ordered to keep him in line, she became the string meant to steer his kite… only to find herself being led along by him as he showed her a world from above. Later, all she wanted was to enter his heart. The closer they got, the more compassion she felt. If it was a wasteland, she would plant flowers there; if it was the dead of night, she would light a lamp; if it was chaos and nothingness, then she would become his faith!

Thank you for freeing me from my restraints. Thank you for giving me flesh and blood.
