I Transmigrated Into the Marquess’s Household and Led the Whole Family to an Easy Life

She wakes up in an old-fashioned sweet romance as the wicked mother-in-law, only to find her husband has died in battle and her ungrateful son, the male lead, is throwing a scene at the funeral hall with a delicate white lotus in tow, demanding she approve their marriage. Ungrateful son: “If Mother won't give us her blessing, I'll have no choice but to leave everything behind and roam the world with her!” Zhao Jin: “What a deal!” Ungrateful son: “...” After successfully kicking her ungrateful son out, and weathering a whole string of melodramatic plot twists, from the delicate white lotus running away pregnant to the real and fake heiresses, Zhao Jin chooses to... work hard and climb to the top of life. A worker's soul is a worker's soul. Modern-day workers never admit defeat! Even a widow can get ahead. Old-school melodrama, don't @ me!! At last, thanks to Zhao Jin's hard work, her account fills with money day after day, and her children grow up to make their mark. But melodrama still refuses to leave her alone. When news arrives from afar, Zhao Jin is struck like lightning: “...My husband, who died in battle, has come back to life?!!” #A proper ex should be as good as dead# #What if I want to be a widow# #The good children are coming with me, the ungrateful son is yours# [PS: This is not a paranormal story. The male lead only faked his death on the battlefield~ A theatrical, scheming heroine vs. a devoted, calculating male lead]
