After They Switched Bodies, the General Tore Apart His White Moonlight

Everyone in the General’s household notices that their general and his wife have both changed beyond recognition. The general, who used to speak sparingly, show filial piety, get along with his elder and younger brothers, and dote on Miss Lin, now swears like a sailor, talks back to his mother, kicks his elder brother out, and tears into Miss Lin. And the lady of the house is even stranger. She used to be timid and let anyone walk all over her. Now she gets into a fight at the slightest provocation, and her attitude toward the old madam is baffling. One moment she is the picture of filial devotion, the next she is overcome with grief. She nearly gives the old madam a heart attack, making her think the woman is a demon who needs to be burned alive.

Strangest of all is the way the two masters treat each other. Their relationship has changed beyond recognition. Don’t believe it? Take a look.

What everyone sees: The two haven’t shared a bed in two years, but they buy each other clothes without asking for sizes, and they fit perfectly. They eat together, piling food into each other’s bowls until they’re overflowing, without a care for anyone else at the table. Who would believe there’s nothing going on between them?

What’s really going on:

Chu Mu: “Shen Zhao, I’m a man. If you show up at the military camp dressed in bright colors, do you want everyone to laugh me to death?”

Shen Zhao: “I’m a woman, too. If you wear a man’s robe, do you want your mother to beat you to death?”

Chu Mu: “Eat more. Look at you, you’re skin and bones. How will you have the strength to train my troops?”

Shen Zhao: “You should eat more, too, and get your strength back for me. Otherwise, how will you deal with your mother, who’s one thing in public and another in private, your lustful brother, and your frail, helpless white moonlight who nearly got you killed?”
