[Feel-good power fantasy + entertainment industry + a touch of imagination + sweet romance, no angst] [Down-and-out heiress × wealthy heir] Jiang Zhao is thrown out of her home by a treacherous couple. She thinks she is going to starve on the street, only to encounter the most powerful and wealthy man in the capital. From then on, at an auction, a supporting actress bids five million and stuns the crowd. Jiang Zhao says, “Twenty million. It’s mine.” On a variety show, the supporting actress slyly shows off the five-carat diamond ring her scumbag boyfriend gave her. Jiang Zhao pulls a ten-carat diamond out of her pocket and tosses it onto the table. “Want to play a game where we count diamonds? I have more.” Just when everyone suspects Jiang Zhao is being kept by some potbellied, balding old man, Xie Ci, the rumored head of the Xie family, appears. “Anyone who dares bully Zhaozhao is picking a fight with me.”

One day, Xie Ci, head of the Xie family, wakes up to find a line of red numbers before his eyes: a countdown to his death. Just as the countdown is about to run out, he meets the down-and-out heiress Jiang Zhao. He also discovers by chance that whenever Jiang Zhao spends his money, the countdown grows longer, extending his life. From then on, he does everything he can to get Jiang Zhao to spend his money. As the days go by, Xie Ci suddenly realizes that Jiang Zhao, whom he once treated as a mere tool, has become the only ray of light in his dark life. Once you have tasted warmth, you can never return to the cold darkness.
