The Idle Princess Consort Has It Rough

Ning Fenghua transmigrates into the timid, weak-born daughter of the Sheng Duke's household, and she's immediately married off. Her groom is a prince who's on his deathbed. She's already planning to inherit his estate when, to her surprise, the prince survives.

With the prince alive and well, she is rightfully the Princess Consort of Prince An. Everyone envies her, and her sisters are jealous. Then one plot after another comes her way, with schemes and false accusations piling up. She has to deal with fake white lotuses and manipulative green tea bitches, while also praying that her sickly prince will ascend to paradise soon so she can inherit his estate.

But why is Prince An getting healthier and healthier? Wasn't he supposed to avoid exertion? So why has he chased her halfway across the capital? Wasn't he weak? Who was that who just picked her up and carried her off?

After being overpowered yet again, Ning Fenghua is baffled. Is this prince really sickly?

After being tormented one too many times, Ning Fenghua finally loses patience. “My lord, you're pretty hard to kill!”

Ning Yian smiles. “I'm afraid my princess will keep a pretty boy, so I have to work hard.”

Ning Fenghua sighs. “Just working hard to stay alive isn't enough.”

From then on, whenever the princess fights, he hands her a weapon. Whenever she gets into trouble, he has her back. Everyone says Prince An has changed. He only has eyes for his little princess.

Ning Fenghua gets used to having everything handed to her, from clothes to meals, and suddenly realizes that having him alive isn't so bad after all...
