The Harem Is Full of Slackers

Shen Ruyan has always dreamed of becoming the emperor's favorite consort. She prepared thoroughly and entered the palace full of confidence, ready for a battle of wits. But... the three thousand beauties of the harem are certainly working hard, but could they be working toward the wrong goal? They scheme and fight among themselves, yet every one of them is doing her utmost to avoid the emperor's favor. The tyrant emperor is like a hot potato that everyone is desperate to get rid of. They'd even love to shove him into the bed of their sworn enemy! Shen Ruyan, who is determined to win his favor, becomes the odd one out. The moment she appears, the entire palace celebrates, and all three thousand beauties declare, “Good sister, make sure you keep him all to yourself!” Shen Ruyan: “...I don't understand, but I'm deeply shocked.” The tyrant emperor says with heartfelt devotion, “My beloved consort, I only want you.” Shen Ruyan: “...Isn't it more like nobody else wants you?” But to be fair, the emperor may be a tyrant, but he's undeniably handsome and refined. When he smiles faintly and tells her that among three thousand waters, he will drink from only one gourd, honestly... Shen Ruyan almost couldn't resist him.
