Painting the Ruyi

Qin Hua transmigrated as the legitimate eldest daughter of a fourth-rank official in the capital. Her scumbag father doted on his concubine and neglected his wife until she died of grief, then tried to send Qin Hua off to become someone’s concubine. She wasn’t about to put up with that. She beat the grievance drum, took her case to the Imperial Court, and reported her own father, turning the capital upside down and becoming its fiercest woman! Ming Chen, the infamous Marquis of Zhenbei, had fought princes, defied imperial edicts, beheaded high officials, and tormented kings. He was the capital’s number-one wastrel. To avoid being forced to take a prince as a concubine, the fierce woman made the first move. Three visits, three playful encounters, fine wine and food: she was determined to make him her husband! But the wastrel turned the tables, playing along with her scheme, rescuing the beauty, showing her tender affection, and plotting to marry her all along. When the fierce woman takes on the wastrel, let’s see who really is the capital’s biggest villain!
