The Eastern Palace Hides a Beauty

With her nation in crisis, the delicate, tearful princess had no choice but to dress as a boy and take her brother's place as a hostage in an allied kingdom. On her very first day in the palace, she was bullied and strangled to death. When she opened her eyes again, the princess, now with a new soul inside her, wiped away her tears, turned around, and clung to the allied kingdom's crown prince, doing everything she could to stick to him. Anyone who wanted to bully her now would have to think twice: even a dog is safe when its master is watching... The saying may be crude, but it makes sense. Staying alive matters most. What she never expected was that the crown prince would actually fall from power!
