I Conquered the Imperial Harem with Food

A modern surgeon becomes the plain-looking empress confined to the Cold Palace. To get out, she uses her medical skills to restore her looks. To make ends meet, she grows vegetables in the Cold Palace by day and cooks for a young guard she meets at night. Before long, she decides to elope with him.

But just as she packs her bags and prepares to leave, an imperial decree appointing her empress falls from the sky. Only then does she realize that the stern, imposing emperor before her looks exactly like the young guard.

The real emperor? The fake young guard: “I hear you wanted to elope with me?”
