The Road of Death Leading to the Ancient Town

This is a supernatural suspense story about boundaries, contracts and dual identities. During a self-driving trip, six young people accidentally drove onto a strange road. After being chased by knife-wielding gangsters, they fled into a mysterious ancient town that seemed beautiful but was full of dangers. There, they were hunted by top predators such as pythons, leopards, and tigers, and finally escaped into an isolated Miao village - Qingzhu Village. The elders in the village told them that this mountain range has living spirituality, and they were selected by the "mountain" because of their special qualifications to become the "bridge" connecting the human world and the natural spiritual world. In order to survive and suppress the intensifying changes in their bodies, they accepted the ancient contract and gained extraordinary abilities, but they also shouldered the heavy responsibility of maintaining the balance of the two worlds. After returning to the city, they found that the changes were irreversible and their abilities were increasing day by day: some could communicate with plants, some could predict danger, and some gradually transformed into snakes...
