Battle Through the Heavens: Chasing Clouds

A Battle Through the Heavens fan fiction.

More than three hundred years after the Five Emperors pierced the void, modern transmigrator Luo Yingyue arrives in Qingshan Town, carrying an obsession with Yun Yun and inhabiting the body of a fallen mercenary.

At first, consumed by that obsession, he takes the name Yan Xiao, follows in the footsteps of those who came before, and lives beneath a false identity.

He builds a business and establishes the Chasing Clouds Medicine Shop, putting down roots in a small city amid chaos.

He cuts away his obsession and abandons his false identity, shedding Yan Xiao's entire facade and leaving only his true self, Luo Yingyue.

He protects his loved ones and companions, welcomes tribes into his fold, and abandons Dou Qi to cultivate his life force instead. With the soul of an ordinary person, he opens a new path of cultivation and rises in the post-legendary age, following the Dao in pursuit of the clouds.
