The usually calm and collected master loses control after drinking and cultivates with his disciple. Afterwards, he tries to cover it up. The disciple is unexpectedly reborn and discovers that his master harbors feelings for him that are difficult to put into words. He, too, gradually falls in love with his master. As cultivation and romance intertwine, the two slowly uncover each other’s innermost secrets. In the end, the master fakes his death and reunites with his disciple under a new identity, becoming his rightful cultivation partner.
