Hu Yao, the most notorious enchantress in the martial world, is promised in marriage to Baiyu, the most handsome man in the jianghu, as the result of a joke. But Baiyu runs away from the wedding. When Hu Yao returns from a trip, she rescues the gravely wounded monk Wuxin, who is actually Baiyu in disguise. As they spend time together, feelings begin to grow between them.
