Prehistoric Dynasty

During the Late Cretaceous period, 68 million years ago, the Earth was at a glorious but fragile tipping point. Ashes from supervolcanoes are still floating in the stratosphere, collisions of continental plates are reshaping coastlines, and dinosaurs, a species that has dominated the Earth for more than 160 million years, stand at the crossroads of civilization and extinction. They use their scales and bones to write an epic that is a hundred times longer than human history, and use their roars and songs to weave a legend that is more magnificent than any myth. This is not a story about "survival", but an elegy about "dynasty": when the sky is covered by the wings of pterosaurs, when the earth is shaken by the footsteps of sauropods, when the fangs of carnivores and the horns of herbivores collide in the morning and dusk, a bond that spans species will leave a final gentle footnote to this prehistoric dynasty before disaster strikes. The North American continent during the Late Cretaceous was a wild territory baked by the scorching sun and torn apart by storms. The tides of the Western Interior Seaway feed vast floodplains, where jungles of conifers and ferns block the sun, and rivers wind like silvery ribbons through marshes. There are no traces of human civilization here, only the most primitive cry of life echoes between heaven and earth - the heavy footsteps of giant sauropod dinosaurs shake the earth, the pterosaurs cast a shadow that blocks the sky as they fly across the sky, and the roar of carnivorous dinosaurs becomes a prelude to death throughout the morning and dusk.
