The Battlefield in the Mirror

[Introduction to the work] Lin Yan, a top cultural relic restorer, received an anonymous and high-priced commission: to restore an ancient bronze mirror with a flat chi pattern from the Warring States Period that was broken into powder. The order contained only one cold request: "No matter the cost." However, this mirror resists ordinary means. When the blood on his fingertips accidentally seeped into the fragments, the taboo was triggered. Late at night, an illusion that did not belong to this era appeared in the mirror: on the bloody wasteland, a general with broken armor was frantically piecing together the same mirror, his fingers dripping with tears.
