Long Unsent Letter

A chronicle of youth spanning ten years, an unfinished book filled with regret and deep love. The story begins with the Northwest Corps in the late 1990s. Su Wan, a proud and bright boy from a cotton factory; Li Zheng, a silent and excellent squad leader. An ignorant heartbeat that started with a note on a snowy night grew quietly under the witness of the cold wind and poplar trees in the regiment. However, youthful love always goes hand in hand with misunderstanding. The misunderstanding in the lecture hall, the heartache of fighting for him, the unspeakable pride and awkward silence caused the two hearts to be repeatedly torn between closeness and alienation. The sweetness of the summer after the high school entrance examination was as short-lived as the night-blooming cereus. High school class placement, the intrusion of "sister" Lin Wei, academic pressure and family changes eventually pushed the proud Su Wan into the quagmire of self-destruction, and made the silent Li Zheng drift away in disappointment.
