After a Top Esports Pro Confessed to Me, I Turned Him Down

As the king of the KPL with ten consecutive championship titles and five FMVP awards, and a face handsome enough to look computer-generated, Shen Zhiheng has a fanbase made up of half girlfriend fans. At a post-match interview, someone asked him: “Do you believe in love at first sight or love that grows over time?” Shen Zhiheng: “There’s no love in esports.” His championship fans were thrilled: A man devoted to his career is the most attractive. His girlfriend fans were thrilled too: Those rumors about people riding his fame are all fake. Less than a year later, Shen Zhiheng fell head over heels. It took him one second to fall in love at first sight. He gave her a token of affection that very day, then confessed the next time they met. But… Xie Lingyi: “Sorry, I’m not looking to date right now.” Not right now didn’t mean never. Until one day, he saw her coming out of a man’s home. They shared an intimate embrace before she left, and the marks on her neck looked decidedly suggestive. Shen Zhiheng: “Didn’t you say you weren’t dating?” He went home to calm down. Once he’d calmed down enough, he went downstairs and ran into Miss Not-Dating, who was waiting there. Shen Zhiheng politely stepped forward. “What a coincidence.” The man Xie Lingyi was waiting for arrived and gave her a rose. Shen Zhiheng: “I wish you happiness.” He couldn’t do that. Soon, he managed to convince himself. Forget personal standards, embrace a life of moral depravity, refuse to torment himself, and if you like someone, go for it. Rather than wishing her happiness, why not join them? He needed to broaden his horizons. He wasn’t here to break them up. The one who isn’t loved is the real other woman! ♡ Shen Zhiheng arranged to meet the other man alone. “I know about you and Xie Lingyi. Name your price.” Lu Shijin: … One question: “Does my sister know?” A resounding victory.
