This is a long reincarnation love epic spanning five thousand years of Chinese civilization. A pair of lovers whose souls are connected by an ancient contract have experienced twelve reincarnations in Xia, Shang, Zhou, Qin (Han), Three Kingdoms, Jin, Tang, Song, Ming, Qing, and the Republic of China to the present day.
