Vientiane Library: Pawn Shop No. 4239

This is a story about rebirth after brokenness. Amy, who suffered the triple blow of bereavement, lovelorn, and unemployment, accidentally broke into the mysterious "Vientiane Library" on a desperate rainy night. The laws of physics are violated here, and "painful memories" are used as currency, which can be exchanged for tickets to a perfect parallel world. In order to escape reality, Amy crazily sacrificed her memory and indulged in the exciting life of resurrecting her mother, tearing up scumbag men, and ascending to the top of a wealthy family. However, as her memories were swallowed up by the greedy library, she gradually became an empty shell of dementia in reality. When she handed over her last memory of maternal love in exchange for "eternal bliss," she was shocked to realize that the library was actually a pasture for captive souls. In the cage of false perfection, a remaining piano music awakened her instinct, and she chose to embrace the bloody reality, shatter the illusion, and rebuild herself in the ruins.
