My Praise for Spirit Hall: A Douluo Dalu Fan from the Peerless Era

Tang Xiao is an ordinary transmigrator living in the Heaven Dou Empire.

But he is rather unlucky. Then again, in those times, most ordinary people were unlucky.

No one would help commoners awaken their Martial Souls for free. If a family wanted to undergo Martial Soul Awakening, they had to scrimp and save until they had enough Gold Soul Coins to ask a Lord Soul Master for help.

Tang Xiao had loving parents and was their only child, yet it took them until he was ten to save enough Gold Soul Coins for his awakening.

After he awakened a decent Martial Soul, he was immediately taken away. He wasn't sent to an academy to study; the front lines were short on soldiers and needed cannon fodder. With no power or connections, but a decent Martial Soul, Tang Xiao was conscripted.

He barely made it back alive, only to discover that his home was gone. His mother had angered a passing noble while asking around for news of him and was beaten to death. His father had been killed by an Evil Soul Master for cultivation, and the money Tang Xiao had sent home all those years had been stolen...

After he became an Evil Soul Master and avenged his parents, people stood in the light, pointing fingers and condemning him, while never mentioning the crimes of those men.

Tang Xiao thought the world had gone mad. He wanted to kill those lunatics, but he wasn't strong enough and was killed instead.

To them, an ordinary person's all-out resistance was no more than an itch...

As he lay dying, a voice offered Tang Xiao a chance to change everything...

Then Tang Xiao arrived ten thousand years in the past and saw Spirit Hall...
