Folklorist Su Meng died at a field investigation site. The cause of death is a mystery, leaving only a notebook filled with taboo symbols. Her husband Luo Bin, an analyst who believes in the rationality of data, decided to use the stupidest method to find the truth: retracing all the roads she had traveled and verifying every legend she recorded.
