The weak-minded girl traveled through mountains and rivers and endured untold hardships before finally arriving at the foot of the Great Wall in the bitter cold northern border. However, what she finally learned was the tragic news that Fan Xiliang had been tortured to death by heavy labor and his bones were buried under the city wall.
