My Best Friend and I Are Forced into Palace Intrigue? To Hell with This System

Novel Synopsis

My Best Friend and I Are Forced to Fight for the Throne? To Hell with This System!

Modern-day best friends Lin Wei and Su Tang unexpectedly transmigrate into the harem of the Qi Dynasty, where they are bound to the most useless harem-struggle System in history. Their mission? Help each other become empress!

Faced with this self-contradictory, cutthroat script, professional beautician Lin Wei and PR strategist Su Tang exchange a smile. Compete for the emperor's favor? Not a chance!

The System forces them to vie for favor, so they turn around and open the Tranquil Reflection Courtyard Beauty and Wellness Salon, earning their first pot of gold with herbal cleansers and image consulting. When the System punishes them by forbidding them to speak, they use looks and gestures to plan an even grander vision. They help timid Beauty Zhao reinvent herself as a fashion icon of the harem, then outsmart Matron Yan, elevating their business ventures to the political cause of “preserving harmony in the harem.”

When the Cold Palace becomes a trendy check-in spot and the imperial gardens turn into a friendship corner, the System completely crashes amid its frantic warning: “Please stop this unauthorized behavior!” Meanwhile, the emperor, traveling incognito, goes from furious to curious, and eventually can't resist anonymously sending rockets in their “concubine selection livestream”...

Watch as these two modern women join forces, using business models, community management, and human care to deliver a complete dimensional takedown of the feudal harem and carve out a brand-new world of their own within the palace walls.
