I Inherited a Hundred Billion, but Chose to Save the World

[No CP + Primarily from the heroine's perspective + A touch of everyone-falls-for-her + Powerful heroine + Not a power fantasy]

Also known as: In Search of Traces

Forgetting is the final death.

Beneath the night sky, ink-black darkness devours people's understanding. Yet one after another, those who take up the post rush forward like moths to a flame, their names left to fade on gravestones that cannot bear a trace.

Are the monsters known as “Ink Traces” savage invaders, or gods bringing sacred revelations?

Bai Zhiji is an S-rank ability user with the highest level of classified files, the “main carry of the Seventh Layer.” People say that no mission she attends ever results in casualties.

She has always lived up to her title, but fate keeps striking at the one place she cannot reach.

An extraordinary victory and the highest medal of honor leave her parents with gaps in their memories. When she opens her eyes again, they have both found new loves, and hope that this once-perfect romance, now in the past, will receive her blessing. Bai Zhiji finds it absurd. Time keeps moving. Will she choose to accept it...

But the truth is not as simple as it seems...

The “Whisperer” divines: “It is ominous to stand firm; retreat and you will gain a fortune; accept, and you will enjoy glory.”

The “Interpreter” declares: “In the final battle, the contest will be waged in the name of ‘God.’ Lose, and you perish.”

She is both a casualty of family drama and the savior who stands against monsters at the city's gates.

Faced with all these troubles, where should she go from here?
