[Third-person narration. Joining the paid tier on 11/23, with 10,000 words released that day.] I think that years from now, our family could call itself a house of champions: the “champion” in esports, and the “champion” in teaching competitions. Whenever I fantasized about it, Wang Jiexi said nothing, just silently drank his cola. Of course, that was actually pretty unfair. By the time Wang Jiexi turned thirty, his career as a top-tier esports player would already be in its twilight. Laden with glory and countless titles, he would announce his retirement to the cheers of the crowd, step down from his throne, and pass it on to the crown prince. But when I turned thirty, I would still be a young teacher, in the prime of my teaching-competition career, charging full steam ahead. It would be just the right age to get hauled off and made a homeroom teacher. Wang Jiexi finally glanced at me, then pushed over another bottle of cola. “Don’t get mad yet. Have you finished planning your open class?” ...I’m taking him down. So what if he’s the Emperor of Tiny Herb? Today, I’m scratching this cat right under the bed.
[Reading Guide]
1. A short-to-medium-length story, around 100,000 words. The aim is to enjoy a romance with Lao Wang and write some assorted, rambling everyday-life commentary in The King's Avatar universe.
2. The current timeline is Season 13, and I’m making things up wildly. There’ll also be some nostalgic flashbacks to before Season 10.
3. The heroine isn’t a pro player, just an ordinary one, and she’s pretty mediocre at Glory. One Glory player in the family is enough, thanks. (In other words, very little competition content; it’s a slice-of-life story, told entirely from the heroine’s perspective. Things will only be described in detail when she interacts with them directly.)
4. The heroine has a tough time teaching in B City, but the author doesn’t live there, so some parts may be inaccurate. Don’t take it too seriously; let’s just say it’s a magical parallel world.

[New Story Guide]
1. My next story will be Don’t Say I Taught You That When You Leave, expected to launch in February. It’s a chaotic cultivation-school story, but the heroine is an unfortunate master. A prophecy says she’ll teach a genius troublemaker, but when she looks around, all three of her disciples are idiots. ( )
2. My next The King's Avatar fanfic will be “[The King's Avatar] About Having a Gaming Buddy,” with Zhou Zekai as the pairing. Once again, it’s a lighthearted short-to-medium-length slice of life starring a non-pro player heroine: a chatty, looks-obsessed girl paired with a beautiful, taciturn little penguin. I’ll start it after finishing the master story!
