Making Wishes on Stream: Another Day, Another Major Change

[Supernatural livestreaming + lighthearted comedy + episodic stories + golden finger] As the Wish Well itself, in charge of granting wishes, Xu Yuan never imagined she’d one day be so overwhelmed that she’d want to call the police. Complaints about her wish adjustments had caused her merit to dwindle. The well had lost its spiritual energy, and its water tasted duller and more bitter than coffee. With no other way to save herself, Xu Yuan reluctantly came out of seclusion and started livestreaming! Wish for riches? The adjustment gets you money from a suspected fraud, and your bank card is frozen. Wish to never come home empty-handed from fishing? The adjustment has you hook an unidentified suitcase. Wish to become famous? The adjustment turns you into the internet’s human ATM for gossip seekers. Hated fame is still fame, right? Wish to get a job at a major company? The offer is from a major company, sure, but this IP address is in northern Myanmar, isn’t it? Doubts flooded in, and Xu Yuan was dragged onto the trending topics and torn to shreds. But Xu Yuan wasn’t worried in the slightest. Just be patient and wait for the ending, okay? It doesn’t matter whether I adjusted your wish. Just tell me: did it come true in the end or not? Little by little, even the skeptics and debunkers came around. The power of faith surged, the incense offerings grew stronger, the well’s spiritual energy grew ever richer, and the gossip-loving viewers made themselves at home in the livestream and laughed their heads off without ever leaving. So, you see... Time will prove the greatness of the Wish Well!
