Crime Portrait: The Erased Connection

Forgetting does not mean escaping. One day, Geng Shubai is pulled into a strange and terrifying “inner world,” a parallel dimension filled with distortion and darkness. Here, time is out of joint and monsters roam, while the crimes forgotten by the real world take shape as its deepest fears.

To escape this nightmarish world, Geng Shubai must search for clues through one life-or-death crisis after another. As he delves deeper, he gradually uncovers the dark truth behind the inner world: it is inextricably linked to unsolved cases and disappearances in reality, and even to his own past. More terrifying still, the memory he deliberately tried to forget is slowly rising to the surface…

As the truth draws near, Geng Shubai must face his deepest fear: what he has forgotten is not only the truth of what happened, but also the unspeakable connection between himself and the inner world.

…Memory can be erased, but evil never disappears.
