Prometheus: The Spark

In 3027, Origin Star arrived. Three suns hung in the sky, and humanity descended into the depths of the Mechanical Era.

I awoke in a cold life-support pod, with no memory of my past and only a pair of gray eyes deemed “defective.”

They told me I was a dead man, a mechanical soldier designated “Mercury,” whose mission was to hunt down the traitors known as the “Fire Thieves.”

My guide was the God of War, “Sade”: perfect and powerful, like a sword devoid of emotion.

But deep in the data streams, I kept hearing the wails of the ruins.

And whenever I hunted the “Fire Thieves,” I discovered that what they had stolen was the truth about “light.”

Only when the supreme mechanical deities began turning against one another, and the rusted dead beneath the earth raised their furious cries, did I understand:

They wanted me to hunt down the light,

and the light might be the stolen

first spark.
